Experience

Caddie — Spring Haven Country Club, Wallingford, PA
Assisted golfers with yardage, carried the golfers' bags. Ensured companionship by listening attentively and conversing about various topics throughout rounds.
Classroom Assistant — Drexel Neumann Academy, Chester, PA
Volunteer for extended school year program. Assisted in the fourth-grade classroom, helping individual students in math, English, and science work. Supported the teacher in classroom management and activities. 12 hours a week for three weeks.
Cultural Exchange — Tainan, Taiwan
Hosted a student from Taiwan at our family home for one week twice (October 2024, April 2026). Traveled to Taiwan for two weeks in December 2025, staying with a host family for one week, attending classes, and touring Taiwan.
Gardener — Red Hill Farm CSA, Aston, PA
Volunteer at Red Hill Farm. Assisted with planting, weeding, and harvesting, approximately 3 hours per week for the summer.

Activities

Baseball
Main sport. Haverford School JV freshman year, JV/Varsity swing player sophomore year, injured junior year — assisted team with scoring and GameChanger. Summer and fall travel team participation, year-round training.
Speech and Debate Team — The Haverford School
Weekly meetings, fall through early spring. Meets with teammates to brainstorm ideas and help each other with topics.
Math Club — The Haverford School
Biweekly meetings, working with a team to solve complex problems. Chosen to represent the Haverford School at the MathWorks Math Modeling Challenge 2026 and the OWLympiad, a math contest for high school juniors hosted by Temple University's Fox School of Business.
Football — The Haverford School
Never played before trying out junior year — named starting kicker for the team and had a successful year.
Chess Club — The Haverford School
Weekly meetings and games with classmates. About 3 hours a week all year spent playing chess in school and personal time.
Community Service — Various
Volunteers when able — MLK Day activities at the Haverford School, Kids Against Hunger United, and the St. Francis Inn soup kitchen.
